NOBODY gives a shit you lived in a more expensive state, broseph.

NH has a high cost of living. 14th in the country, even. Everyone knows there are higher COL states.

So... what's your point?

"Look at these yokels, having grounded, reasonable discussion about the quality of life in NH. I used to live in LA where I had to suck dick to make rent."

Dunno why you were downvoted.

You're right, it was close.

NH is going to increasingly get more and more blue. Like the other person said, it was by more last time and it's only going to keep growing because Millennials and GenZ are majority VERY left and are growing in both voting bloc size and engagement.

Hell, the U.S. is going blue. Republicans are literally dying. The red wave is never happening.

You could drive all the way down. Arrive early and find parking along Comm Ave. You will need to pay a couple of buck for street parking and you might be 5-10 minute walk to Fenway. Since you arrive early and saved money you can get a beer or two at a local establishment on your way to the ballpark.

He's historically been a good representation of NH at large.

Recently NH has moved a little socially left and his stance on weed has everyone mad.

Currently I think a slightly more left and slightly more socially-libertarian would be more representative of NH.

Taxes are important, social services are important. The books kids can read, the way people dress, a person having an abortion, a person smoking weed, etc is not something the government should even comment on, let alone hold sway over.

Lots of angry right wing people deny the shift but it's just that -- denial.

They also noted that this has no effect on 87% of NH residents. I'd be surprised if the majority of that group "under $200,000" weren't pretty close to that 200k threshold, not that it really matters.

As noted in the table in the article, in order to pay $500 to this tax a one would need between a $250,000 to $825,000 in investments to generate $10,000 in interest and or dividends. If you've got enough money invested to earn that kind of dough then you can afford the $500. If you have that kind of money and you can't afford the $500, take a long look in the mirror and try to figure out why you suck so bad at money management because it's not taxes that are screwing you, it's your own ineptitude.

I went to Cycle Gear with my GF last weekend to get her outfitted for the season. Between military discount and joining their RPM discount program ($60 to join) she saved 20% off of $1,200.00 worth of gear. It's nice to be able to try stuff on but their discount works on Revzilla too. Freedom Cycle in Concord use to have a pretty good selection too

If you want to drive use spothero to pre-book parking so you know how much you're going to pay.

You can also go park at Wellington or Alewife and take the train in. (Although it's taking about 20minutes extra right now because of MBTA slow zone problems.)
