Those were rhododendrons and it was the road agent who got chased, but yes.

That's hilarious. How the heck were rhododendrons even causing a problem unless they were encroaching the road, that's insane.

They're planted right on the side of the road and the house is on a sharp curve. The current resident isn't any more reasonable and has filled his yard with a whole bunch of junk.
