There was a large rafter of them on Warner Hill Road in Derry for hours today. We passed them at 9am and again at 1pm in the same spot.

We have a flock of around 50 that hang out in our yard and roost in the trees along our driveway. We live on a road that is busy at commute times and the turkeys choose this time (basically dawn and dusk) to cross this road. In all the years they have been doing this we have only had to bury one turkey because for the most part people are kind and slow down and stop to let them cross the road.
