As a skier, snowmobiler, ice skater; how in the world would someone participating in these activities not see climate change?? The ski season gets 5 days shorter every year, ice skating on lakes is rarely safe these days. Snowmobiling is almost almost actually dead in this region. It's kinda devastating. Just 10 years ago rocked. Climate scientists said new England has 15-20 years of skiable climate left, seeming more like 10-15 or less :(

I remember ice skating on local ponds and lakes as soon as the temps dropped below freezing. They wouldn’t get a chance to thaw; just freeze deeper. Now they almost never freeze deep enough. They hardly freeze at all.

Those kinds of doomer statements are just not helpful IMO. They estimate Boston will have the former climate of DC by 2035. But there are ski areas in the mid-Atlantic.
Furthermore, I strongly believe humans will be extinct before Tucks isn’t skiable in the spring.
