Hey all! I didn’t get such positive responses about moving to VT, given my checklist, so this is my next stop. I’ve maybe narrowed my choices to Dover, Concord, or Providence, RI.
These are things that are important to me:
- Walking trails to walk/hike with my dog (I have about 20 different options for this where I live right now and it’s great)
- Gluten free restaurant options and grocery stores with plenty options
- Pretty scenery, friendly people, not too much traffic but enough of a night life, downtown feel, occasional things to do on the weekend
- Options for dating (I’ll be 27, female, looking to find a male partner)
- Potentially a place to continue training my dog
- Access to good healthcare (cardiologist, gastro, neurologist). I have a very rare condition that requires frequent doctors visits.
Do you think that either Dover or Concord match my list or should I continue the search? I’d like to stick to the northeast.
Thank you for your insight :)

Concord is great if you're geriatric, Dover can be fun but gets old fast. If you like being cold 6 months a year come over!
