Saying STOP is just telling them you are a conscious human and to try harder. Responding at all is the worst thing you can do.

Actually if you reply Stop, you’re opted out immediately. Most won’t even send a reply to tell you they opted out.

The only problem is that hundreds of candidates and Pacs use the program. Stop only opts you out of one list.
