Ethnic food is where Manchester excels, imo.

Indian/Pakistani/Nepalese:

  • Annapurna Curry and Sekuwa House
  • Classic Biryani Kebab and Curry
  • Kathmandu Spice
  • Taj India

Southeast Asian

  • Golden Bowl

Mexican:

  • Consuelos
  • El Rincon Zacatecano
  • Taqueria and Pastelitos

Other Latin American:

  • Antojitos Colombianos
  • Dulce's Bakery

There's also a bunch of other Chinese, Thai, Middle Eastern, and Mexican joints worth your time that I didn't list because I'm too lazy.

Answers like this one are why I keep coming back to reddit.

After you wade through all the lies and anger... there are still small gems comments this one that make it all worth it.

Had Taqueria y Pastelitos today (and easily once a month). Just absolutely awesome street tacos, and the verde is out of this world.

I absolutely adore consuelos tacqueria. Definitely try their tortilla soup. Right by the courthouse, next to the sex shop & tattoo parlor.

I've got a soft spot for it having grown up there. It gets a much worse rep than it deserves imo.

Hispanic: Iguana’s, Consuelos, El Rincon, Taqueria y Pastelitos, Antojitos Colombianos, Dulce’s Bakery, Begy’s Taqueria, California Burritos, Rita Supermarket

Asian/Indian: Annapurna, Classic Biryani Kabab and Curry, Cafe Momo, Ubon Thai2go, Thai Food Connection, Daw Kun Thai, Osaka, Kisaki, Pho Golden Bowl

Miscelanneous: Al Basha Mediterranean, Gumaa’s Bar and Grill (African), Kennedy Fried Chicken, Gyro Spot, USA Chicken and Biscuit, Poke Spot, Zem Zem

I keep a list in my notes, pretty similar to yours. Glad to see someone else appreciates the ethnic food scene in Manch as much as I do!

I’ve always enjoyed Muse Thai Bistro

Edit: I should mention I also brought home some Kathmandu Spice tonight.

I came here to mention Antojitos, so I'm glad to see someone else point it out!

The chicken kabobs at Vlassic Biyani is the best dish in Manchester. The rest of their food ranges from meh to very good, but that chicken kabob is on another level. Side note: mimosas are vastly superior to egg rolls.

Golden Bowl unfortunately changed hands very recently so I would tread with caution because I heard the quality went way down. :(
