Why is there no mechanism to allow a community poll to reset mods?

Edit: I think the comments mentioning politics, for some reason, are proving the point. Why does every thread turn into a political ad and everyone turns into a name calling child?

Online forums need impartial moderation simply for the sake of complying with Reddit admin rules. The one we have does not do that and then some. There are 90 thousand of us.
