Hey neighbors, my senior cat isn't doing well. Could be liver disease or liver cancer. We find out what's going on via ultrasound on Tuesday. He's very anxious and hates the vet. I'd like to do an at-home euthanasia if it comes down to it, and I want to prepare before my emotions get the best of me. Does anyone have at-home euthansia companies they recommend? We're going to Hooksett Vet and I really like them, but I'd like to hear any real life recommendations, if possible. Thank you so much.

We used Lap of Love with our dog and they were wonderful, it was a very stress free experience for our doggie. They did a plaster paw print for us and were so compassionate all around.

My vet has done it for my last few family pets that have passed (large dogs). Talk to your vet and see if they will do it for you?

Thank you! I'll talk to them if it comes down to it next week. I know Hooksett vet is a smaller place so I'm not sure if they offer that.

My vet is pretty small (it’s in Manchester and we’ve been going to them for as long as I can remember) and he’s been so good about coming out first thing in the am for this when it has been needed. Good luck, and I’m so sorry to hear about your cat.

Our vet in Rochester came to us when we put our sweet boy down. It was very nice, peaceful, and calm.

Call them up and ask if they’ll do that

Cannot say enough good things about Ark Homecare.

They made an otherwise terrible day more manageable for us all, and made our dog's last moments as good as they could be under the circumstances.
