Hey everyone! I’m from New Hampshire originally, but live in California now. I’m visiting for the first time in 3 years and am dying for a good Italian sub (they just don’t do them right in California). Any recommendations in the Portsmouth area?

I used to go to place in Londonderry (we’re I lived) called Great American Subs, but I think they’ve since closed.

Thanks

Italian sub + Portsmouth = Moe's

Right downtown just outside of market square.

FYI- Great American is still up and running. Awesome staff, great steak & cheeses and even the fries are great.

When’s the last time you went? I was there about a month ago and it was just…fine imo

I’ve heard people rave about it so I assume I must’ve caught them at a bad time
