It seems there's actually two of them. There's the one in Wolfeboro area that you see the signs for with the picture of the guy. Then there's blue signs all over that have the small orange ribbon in the bottom right, which I believe is a leukemia ribbon.

I've always assumed it was to build support for someone who needed help, but it was unclear to me who it was for, and for what reason.
It's still not real clear to me, but I can send prayers even if I never know.

The Wolfeboro Max is easy to find, he was the one in the accident. But the blue signs I can't figure out who they're supporting and I don't even know where they're getting the signs from. Which is strange considering how prevalent those signs are.

It's odd ‐ I'd definitely donate to a local neighbor in need, but would want to at least know who and/or why. What's the point of the signs otherwise?
