I’ve been living in Manchester for 4 years now and I’ve been trying to make friends with people my age, I’ve been unsuccessful. Gimme some tips

Join the My Social Sports rec sport league. My roommates all play different sports throughout the year and we've met more friends that way! Also wear your team shirt to certain bars and restaurants and ya get a discount 😎😎

Be warned, they're surprisingly competitive so if you're not athletic your mileage may vary.

Ehhh, I disagree. My roommates have been on many teams at this point, and none of them have been unreasonably competitive. I'm sure some teams are, but I wouldn't say the majority.

I’ve lived here my entire life (21) and I don’t really have friends either. Is having friends normal in other states?

This won't help really, but I started a New Hampshire discord to socialize. (Wasn't happy with the other options out there) It's still very new but let me know if you'd like an invite

I spend my summers at my camp in Loudon. I grew up in Pelham. Can I get an invite?

Mind if I get an invite? I’m 29, my wife and I are just looking for new friends in the area.

Join a gym. There are gaming leagues. Sports clubs. That is a tough age group though.

Appalachian Mountain Club has a 20s and 30s group that could be fun if you like outdoor activities.

I agree, though. Been here 3 years and never found it so hard to make friendships with any depth.

Do volunteer work on a consistent schedule and you'll often see the same people repeatedly. Eventually you could become friends. Living here versus California really shows that NH is not an easy place to make friends. Good luck!

It might be harder to make them here, but once you do, they’ll be worth a damn.

My name is Annika! I’m also 24 and I’m in Hooksett (not by choice though). Hi!

Go visit some of Manchester's wonderful clubs and bars, like the 603 grill or the GOAT. Always seems to be friendly people around.
