We left Pennsylvania for quite similar reasons. Last living at Blue Knob ski area but I'm from outside Altoona. I hear you so loud on the poor quality of life. There isn't much night life in towns around sunapee. Another great town close by that has a wonderful ski area is Henniker. But if you're coming from the Johnstown are, fucking run up here.
