Heidi Ames, Jon Strasburger, Kimberly Shaughnessy, Kristen Weber. Avoid Diane Puckhaber at all costs. Good luck!

The courts look at the best interest of the child. If you are the best, you don’t need a good attorney with that said if you aren’t the best, you get what you pay for when it comes to attorneys

Right well its not for me, i myself am childless, but the person in question, the mother is trying to move across the country with her new boyfriend and the father isn't interested in only being able to see the child during the summer. He wants him full time

The courts favor the mother... In general, obviously

Unless he can prove the mother is negligent it's not likely he'll get full custody. He does need a lawyer to protect his rights though. Assuming both parents are ok for the child the most likely arrangement is shared custody.

My ex tried to do that (not across country, but really far and to take the kid. Because the distance was in excess of the parenting agreement (and that has some standard boilerplate of i think 30 miles from memory) - judge said she could move, but the kid stays

Those things will also be huge deciding factors. As well as the support system that both parents have. If mom is moving with her bf to a place where she knows no one, while dad stays here and has a support system of family and friends to help (even her own family being here helps him), the judges will take that into consideration as well.

Many years ago I worked with Deborah Shepherd at Clark Family Law in Manchester. She is awesome.
