Okay but now I want to see a Yakuza movie that follows all the same plot points and story beats as Pulp Fiction, but the central conflict is a Yakuza boss taking care of business on his turf, while an assortment of clowns keeps fucking with his business.

Think it's late 70's, but Sydney Pollack's Yakuza is great. Seems like there was a dearth in the 80's, as far as American movies anyway.
