Wasn't Top Gun Maverick filmed mostly in 2018?

Pretty sure it bounced through like 7 dates until it finally came out. And to be fair to Tom Cruise and Co., it was absolutely the smart move.

I think they started some jet sequences in 2018 but most of it was filmed in 2019.
