DRS gets better every time I watch it, the fact that you know ‘the twist’ after seeing it for first time doesn’t detract in anyway from the structure/ script of the film, or the chemistry between Michael Caine, Steve Martin and Glenn Hedley, it is superb. And fkn funny with the individual characters Almost every scene is like it’s own individual sketch.

Amazing movie.

Watching Steve Martin play Ruprecht had my Dad and I in absolute stitches.

‘Excuse me, may I go to the bathroom first?’ lmfao

The scene where Michael Caine whips Steve Martin’s legs absolutely kills me every time I see it.

That’s the funniest bit in the entire movie for me. Michael Caine unexpectedly being a master of physical comedy is so great. The way he backs up several steps and takes a running start for the final whipping makes me fall out of my seat laughing every time.

What did we do when Uncle Charlie was here? No, after that.

Caine and Martin are hilarious. First time I saw it I had a feeling that I had seen it before. I had, it is a remake of Bedtime Story with Marlon Brando, David Niven, and Shirley Jones. Check that one out.
