Personally I like Resident Evil series. All of them except sixth one.
Sixth one destroyed its own lore and changed whole story. And action scenes were edited badly.
Anyway I like the series, alright action movie with zombies and cool characters. The actor who played Leon was good, he looked like he just got out of the game.

"Adventures of Ford Fairlane" (1990)
Yeah a lot of it is considered anti-PC by today's standards and it was widely panned by critics as one of the worst comedies ever made --- but I still think it's got some hilariously brutal lines in it --- like when Ford comments on the "wick-prick" singer in the studio and says "I've heard cats fuck with more harmony than this guy" and tells him "you're killin' rock and rapin' roll, man" LOL
The scene where he tell Zuzu Petals too (Run Stupid!) is gold!

Hard agree. I love this movie. It's terrible, but oh so entertaining.
It's great, it has a killer cast and nice direction, which got Renny Harlin the job to do Die Hard 2!
Ghost Ship
Is that movie bad? I thought it was awesome.
It was average but the opening was so incredible that the rest of the movie suffers by comparison.

It exists in the same realm for me as "If Looks Could Kill", and "Oscar".

Wild Wild West is a fucking riot. I just watched this for the first time recently and I had a great time. The cross dressing, the uncomfortable racist jokes, the bad CGI, Sir Kenneth Branagh in a steam-powered wheelchair.
10/10 thoroughly enjoyed
I have a soft spot for it. It's not as bad as some say.
In The Army Now
I liked The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, even though I understand why most other people don't. To me, they took the story to a logical conclusion.
Suicide Squad (2016) was panned to hell and back by critics, and even though few would admit it now, most liked it at the time, as evidenced by the good audience scores and its long legs at the box office (it made $750 million without China and was number 1 for three weeks in a row). However, I still think it was a fun film. I even liked Jared Leto's Joker. I found him to be creepy, hilarious and fascinating.
The same is even more true for one of my favorites, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, let me preface this by saying that I greatly prefer the Ultimate Edition here. The studio forced him to butcher the theatrical release, but even then, I still loved the film, despite its flaws. The Ultimate Edition fixed those flaws and then some for me, but the biggest reason I love this movie is that it gave me my three favorite heroes on the big screen for the first time. It made me feel like a little kid again, and I will forever be grateful to Zack Snyder for that. All the "Martha" jokes in the world cannot budge me on this one bit.
I think the Matrix sequels were released during a bit of a lag in CGI and cinema culture, where what was featured wasn’t as “new” or eye-opening as in the first Matrix film.
In terms of CGI and storytelling, there was nothing even close to the Matrix before that movie came out. I try to suppose why, though I thoroughly enjoy 2 & 3 and don’t understand the less-than-favorable reviews from fans & critics at the time of release. It might be that the scifi-dystopian story goes into a greater fantasy sphere, or lens in 2/3 and 3/3. The first film is still grounded within a - at the time - somewhat surreal, but captivating alternate reality that is the war-zone for counter-culture revolutionaries… where the next films are drawing the mystery to a close, and - in my opinion - makes it very difficult not to come off as shallow(er) in the sense of conflict / resolution.
I think the issue is appreciating the films as standalone chapters, grading them as such, versus seeing them all as a saga. I definitely think in terms of the latter. For example, I won’t even bother trying to say which LOTR film is the best, as I see them all as a cohesive unit of an epic tale. Sure, certain elements shine in certain conditions but, generally there isn’t a “first one” without seeing the others, as well.
I think you nailed it. I love the overarching story of The Matrix trilogy (that new one doesn't count). The same is true of the prequels for me.
Batman and Robin
I kinda agree. It was a giant toy commercial made for kids, but I was a kid and I got all the toys, so kudos on that.
Boondock Saints. Terrible. Ridiculous. I adore it.

That whole movie is a glorious mess and I love it.
Of all the crappy video game but now its a movie movies I dragged my poor mother to in the 90s Street Fighter was the best. I know that is a fairly fluid definition when you are up agianst Double Dragon and Super Mario brothers but the spirited performance by Raul Julia is what saves it. Not going to win any awards surely but the film is at least watchable because of General Bison.

There is a 1993 Hong Kong film called City Hunter with Jackie Chan in the lead role and a whole sequence in it is Street Fighter II characters becuase Chan gets electrocuted and thinks he sees all these people in real life and the fight ends with him as Chun-Li.
It's....certifiably insane.

I think it was the very first "catastrophe movie" and for some reason it just fucking clicked with me. It also helps with how god damned attractive Jake Gyllenhaal and Emmy Rossum are. Also, I think I was at that age 16 to where I was just learning about global warming and was like, "dude this couple totally fucking happen."

I really liked Sucker Punch, thought it was awesome with the multiple layers/worlds. It's a bit like Inception. Also Oscar Isaac.

Escape From LA / NY
Nothing bad about Escape From NY. Lets not talk about LA tho, it somehow managed to make Bruce Campbell dull and unfunny.
I will most certainly be laughed out of this subreddit for this, but for me it's either Speed Racer or Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.
Speed Racer, despite being edited like the filmmakers were having a stroke and having so much greenscreen that it feels I should grab my Playstation controller since it looks like a game more than a movie at times, still captured the essence of the original anime in my eyes and the final race is still a very, very good anime-ish climax.
AvP:R... is bad. And worse still you can't see like half of it due to the piss poor lighting, but... like, I enjoyed the slasher aspects of it, adored the Yautja (Wolf) for how badass he was, the PredAlien was horrifying as it should be, and discount Dutch, Ripley and Newt did a fine enough job with what little they were given. Also, using new characters rather than killing off franchise favorites offscreen like Alien3 or Covenant did makes me respect it just a little bit. Some good gore too, when you can see it that is.

I embarrassed to even admit this but I enjoyed The Predator. I recognize all its flaws and faults but its just so horribly dated and bad in almost every way I just laughed all the way through it. It felt like the whole movie was made as a joke and the makers just didint bother to tell anyone it was a parody.
Now that I think about it the same goes for Batman V Superman, except it didnt feel like a joke, just an enormous amount of bad ideas and even worse way of implementing those ideas. It was hilarious.
I guess you could categorize both of these as a guilty pleasure of mine.
I think The Rise of Skywalker is really good, and even the bits that seem to be bad... I understand why they are present in the film or needed to be, messy as it may be.
And it also feels like the most Star Wars-y film of the sequels by a very long stretch.
Out of the three, it's the one I've re-watched most.
I know I'm in the minority on this one.

That Will Farrell "Holmes and Watson" movie that tested so bad the studio tried and failed to sell it to a streaming service then released it in theaters for like a week to utterly dismal reviews up to an including lines like "Indescribably bad"?

as cheesy and bad, with the we have nothing adn we're so poor , but we still can afford to pay for a nanny ...13 ghosts. The lore they came up with and the back stories for all 13 ghosts was awesome. The disc has extras that have the background on them, and the ghosts looked awesome. personal favorite was the angry princess at the time, when it came out.
the KID is so freaking annoying but dam the ghosts make up for it.
I remember sitting in a theater with my brother watching "The Day After Tomorrow" and him making this great joke at "americans crossing the border into mexico", the bad CGI wolves and everything its still a fun as hell entertaining movie and the scenes of the tornadoes in LA was really cool.
The Riddick movies
My friend and I are going through a ton of 80s-90s comedies so we've watched several that reviewed way harsher then we expected. The Coneheads is probably one of our favorites, but we've enjoyed a lot of the bad ones more then some of the classics. Meatballs and Animal House were a struggle. 😂

I will now admit something that will result in me getting viciously attacked by angry hordes, but I actually found the Emoji-movie to be quite entertaining. Is it a cinematic masterpiece? No. Does it have an engaging plot and captivating characters? No. But did it help me escape my boring everyday life for between one and two hours? Amazingly, yes! And that is what it is all about in the end, init? Escapism!

Not sure if they're considered bad by anyone offline, but Hellboy (2004) has a 6.8/10 on IMDB, and the sequel 'Hellboy 2: The Golden Army' (2008) has a 7/10.

As for Resident Evil i really liked 1&2 part everyyhing after that is just going downhill(the casting in 2nd part was decent, and i loved how they implemented Nemesis in the movie) after that its just a clusterfu*k of them trying to merge movie with a game, Wenworth Miller for Chris Redfield is awfull choise.
