What are the best 3d movies to watch on my vr headset (except Avatar and mcu movies)? I want the 3d effects to actually be good and not some cheap garbage 3d processing some studios apply to their movies. I also want the 3d to actually be immersive and cool. Movies I have already seen in 3d are: Avatar, avengers, godzilla, star wars the force awakens, pixels, terminator genesys and jurassic world.

I own around 400 3D Blu-rays, and the first ones which pop in to my head are: Gravity, The Walk, Pacific Rim, Blade Runner 2049, Titanic, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Hugo, Jurassic Park, Predator, Kong Skull Island, Mad Max Fury Road, Piranha, Ready Player One, San Andreas, Life of Pi. IMO these are all good/great movies with good/great 3D. There’s a Wikipedia page which lists all the 3D movies available and you can check out the reviews of these movies on blu-ray.com (which also usually reviews the quality of the 3D work).

You need to get The Adv. of Tin Tin. Easily the best 3d movie in my collection. Pretty much every frame of the film has some level of dimension. There are some scene transitions that are "chef's kiss" and the colors and brilliance of the picture is second to none. Check it out you will not be disappointed.

I own that one but not a fan personally! Some nice 3D, but the actual movie leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. A (relatively) rare Spielberg miss!

The Life of Pi makes good use of 3D.

The classic Creature from the Black Lagoon is fantastic in 3D.

Gravity Gravity Gravity!!!

Must-watch in 3D. You lose like 50% of the immersion in 2D.

Also it's not really useful but the Kung fu panda movies are great in 3D, there's a ton of depth, it rules. Doctor Strange 1, while being a post-conversion, works so well in 3D, especially the first "space travel" and the "fractal chase" in the middle

Jurassic park was a quality conversion and wizard of oz is great! Dredd and TRON Legacy are two more of my favorites.

I have a 3D tv setup, can you describe your headset setup?

I also have a 3D tv but when the 3d is on the screen is too dim. My current vr setup is quest 2 with bigscreen vr app. I use the remote desktop feature to watch movies.

Any movie movie from DreamWorks animation is a must-watch in 3D.

Also recommend Beowulf, Tron Legacy, Pacific Rim, Hugo, Titanic, Prometheus, The Martian, Dredd, Hercules (2014), Warcraft, and the Hobbit Trilogy Extended Editions.

I recommend one of the first 3D movies, House of Wax, starring Vincent Price. There is a 3D version out there that was released a few years ago (if you can find it). It looks amazing

It might be difficult to find in the original 3D, but Hitchcock’s, “Dial M for Murder” is an excellent film.

Hugo (2011), directed by Martin Scorsese, is filmed in 3D format. It’s actually quite a charming movie, bit forgotten by time already. Nonetheless worth checking out in 3D

Most cg animation looks great in 3d. Theyre bright and colorful, and all they had to do was shift the camera and bit to get the stereoscopic effect so it looks good.

Transformers 3 is stunning in 3D. Some of the best usage of depth and parallax I've ever seen.
