I saw crazy hype from everywhere about this movie. Literally everyone was telling me how amazing it was… I finally watched it last night, and I think it was just okay. I didn’t hate it. It was entertaining, but almost a bit too weird.

It felt like a direct spoof of Inception, and The Matrix combined.

Sorry if you’re one of the many who thinks it’s the best movie ever made, I just strongly disagree. Again don’t get me wrong I enjoyed watching it. I found many scenes very funny, then others felt like they were trying too hard. Butt plugs come to mind lol.

I thought it was a solid 6/10. Too goofy, too random and the main plot was too lame. It was trying too hard for me to care about the daughter who I absolutely did not care for. I was way more invested in the mom's and dad's plot but they kind of forget about them half way through when it suddenly became all about the kid.

I am the only other person on the internet who thinks the movie was good but not amazing. I’d give it an 8/10, glad I saw it but won’t be rushing to rewatch or hyping it up to other people beyond saying it was good

It was a very Reddit demographic movie. It does some cool things and despite being the millionth multiverse movies it does some cool things with it. But damn is it hard to get through without cringing at the attempts at humor.

Reddit demographics is a lanky white dude in his 20s lol

This movie hits hard if you're a minority and 1st gen.

The multiverse thing is nothing but a far far back drop to the real meat which is the daughter's relationship with her mom.

If I was going to compare this to something it would be Lady bird not Dr. Strange lmfao

And compared to Ladybird it's 10x better w/o a doubt.
