Which movie has the best-looking monsters/creatures ?

Just watched some nostalgic fantasy movies recently, one thing I've been noticing is that the monsters did not carry any feeling of terror, menace and realism anymore. What are some movies with good looking ones ? I don't care about the movie itself being good, I just want to see monsters, whether they are practical or CGI.
