It's silly, but the trend to call House 'Hausu' is pet peeve of mine. It's just 'House', it was released with an English title. In addition to the actual English there was a katakana supratitle but that's just a phonetic translation for Japanese pronunciation of English words and it's silly to translate back as 'hausu' unless you are actually speaking Japanese, it's like a stupid game of pronunciation telephone. Years ago when it was re-released some people started marketing it as 'hausu' and it's been nonsense ever since. It reeks of people who don't know Japanese trying to be "authentic" with absolutely no knowledge of why they are doing so. Like the film-nerd equivalent of getting a Kanji tattoo that they heard means 'power' or whatever and any native speaker has to hold back their laughter or confusion.
