alright I understand. For me though D&D just looks like it came out of no where.
I'm pretty sure it would have come out a few years ago, were it not for covid. Just because you missed it doesn't mean it came out of nowhere.
Dnd has been an ever growing franchise, since before COVID, it's been around for the last 50 years. There's been plenty of themed movies and animations on the subject, toys, dice, terrain, you name it, it's been cash grabbed at.
But the dungeons and dragons movie is getting race reviews and looks amazing. I'm going to see it tonight and as a DND player and DM I'm looking forward to it.
?????
People really just talk out of their ass on this sub... You don't hire talented young directors, build real sets, and spend 150 million dollars for a cash grab movie.
Even if you think the movie looks like crap or is crap it's undeniable that Paramount has put a lot of effort into trying to make Dungeons and Dragons a franchise-starting hit.
They clearly don't view it as a cheap cash grab.
He hadn't heard of it before, though. How could that be if there wasn't something bad about it?
I think the D&D movie looks kinda fun, enough that I'm actually tempted to see it, and I'm not a D&D person at all.
I mean, we’ve been watching generic superhero movies in theaters for years (the biggest cash grab scheme I know), and only this month we got things like JW4, D&D (a really fun movie btw), Creed 3, Scream. Such an upgrade tbh!
d&d is a really funny movie, you should go and see it before judging about it.
You are 100% right , very few movies are actually amazing like maybe 1 in 10
1 in 10 would be a shit ton of movies.
I think it’s closer to 1 in 100.

Based on reviews, D&D is actually a good movie....
Also, movies weren't all that great during covid, so I am not sure I agree.
