For example, the original Ice Age has, in my opinion, the best scene in the entire series. Right at the end of the movie, Manny and Sid return the baby to his father, and immediately there's tension there because the humans think the mammoth will be a threat. Manny reaches up and shows the baby, and the father recognises him. Manny gives the baby to him, and the humans are about to leave, but before doing so, the father gives Manny a look of thanks and respect. Then to top of the emotion, Diego (originally written to be killed off) appears over the hill. And not. one. word. said. in the whole scene! The writers brilliantly left the emotion of the scene down to the facial expressions and the music, and the scene played out in actions rather than words.

What other movies have a terrific scene like this - where the action/acting/music take over the role of telling the story for one brief brilliant moment?
