I actually do love Forest Gump and think it's one of my most quoted movies. But it's competing against:
Shawshank Redemption - Pulp fiction - Lion king
Not to mention
Leon: the professional - The crow - Dumb and dumber - interview with a vampire - Natural born killers - 4 weddings and a funeral - The mask
I wouldn't put any of the "not to mentions" over it
But damn are we ever going to have a year for movies that good again?
