Absolutely pumped for Chicken Run 2. Aardman never strikes out. And Netflix has been a goldmine for animated movies.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the idea of a Rocketeer 2. I loved the pulpy tone of the original, and hopefully they'll preserve that (including using practical effects). Retro sci-fi action is hard to come by these days, so this could have potential if they don't water it down too much.

Avengers 5 and 6, Deadpool 3, The Batman 2, Dune, The Expendables, Free Guy, Gladiator. Honestly just take my money now. I’ll probably see as many of these on the list as I can.

The sizzle reel has been around for a while. It looks really good and several key creatives are involved from the original, but the latest news has not been hopeful.

Was Alec Guinness really that desperate for money at that point in time? Especially three years after getting 2.5% or whatever it was on box office of Star Wars

The books are a trilogy so it was to be expected. The two mains from the first movie are not the main characters in the second and third books. The second should focus on Gemma Chan's and Harry Shum Jr. characters while the third is much more and ensemble.

Make it a personal drama about a futuristic "plumber" whose job it is to install and maintain the 3seashells bathroom systems.
He's lured into a web of betrayal and deception as he uncovers the unethical origins of the company who harvested these shells and developed the technology. His loved ones aren't the people he'd always thought. They'd been planted here to make sure he didn't learn too much. Kinda like Truman Show how the people in his life were they to keep him on track.
As he goes through this arc, the movie continues to tell the audience absolutely nothing about the shells or the technology itself. It's just kept off-screen or obscured by some loud noises that pop up to cover the dialogue whenever the characters are talking about it.

It was a commercial success which is what matters

The two mains from the movie aren't the mains in the first book either really. But it made a lot more sense to focus the movie down and their pov probably was the most straight forward.
The 2nd and 3rd books get a bit too ridiculous for me. I enjoyed the first movie but the source material for 2/3 and the long delay in production might be an issue.

This article was clearly written a while back and reposted today - it has today's date yet speaks as if it was from 2021.
There is NO Animal 2 in production or anything and I suspect a lot of the other stuff on here is just as made up.

Lethal weapon 5 already came out right? 👀
Enjoyed atomic blonde so hopefully the sequel will be good.
Brightburn is getting a sequel? The premise of the first film was great, the film itself wasn't, so hopefully they can improve on that.
