Casually calling Jungle Jim's "my local grocer" smdh.

I've been there once and immediately knew where it was from the pic.

how lucky you are to have Jungle Jim’s local. It’s at least a couple hours drive for me

I try to remind myself to be grateful; it’s easy to forget how unique of an experience it is! If you haven’t been in a while, it’s worth another trip as they’ve remodeled quite a bit of it in the last few years.

We are so lucky to have Jungle Jim's nearby. I like exploring the international produce area and picking something at random to try!

I went there looking for a top quality unsweetened chocolate for hot cocoa and wasn't finding it, but the place was packed and some aisles a bit hard to shop. So I asked an employee who disappeared for ten minutes, then returned with a big bag from the England section, and it makes the most exquisite hot cocoa I've ever had. (Well, my partner makes it with that chocolate lol.)

Can't say enough good things about JJ's.

The employees are always super helpful! At one point, I was looking for a specific type of date that has a short season, they didn’t have any at the time but they went and got one of the produce managers for me and he showed me all of my ordering options. They were able to get me an entire case shipped within the next couple of days and held it behind the counter for me! It really is crazy how often you can find/get things there you just cannot find elsewhere.

That looks awesome! I wish we had something like that in Alaska.

It's a 2.5 hour drive from where I live, but Jungle Jim's is always worth the visit!

There's another one nearby in Eastgate but the original one is much better

I like that they went with a totally different layout at Eastgate, it makes it worthwhile to visit both, but I definitely prefer the OG ☺️

I was just here last month. I took a picture in this exact spot because my friend's got an overweight cat named Cheese

The big cheese is really good. Close to an asiago or ramano. Really sharp too.
