It’s doesn’t even look like they gave you a hole for your straw to begin with so you had to resort to doing it yourself.

I thought that at first but then I saw the hole in the pit(?) of the cup lid.

the level of unconsciousness with these workers is insane. How do you not notice what you’re doing? especially with food.

you think the workers make the hole in the lid?

Neurrottica t1_j6papfi wrote

nope. never said that. It’s just a common practice to be looking there already while putting the lid on.

Nobody in those positions has the time or fucks to care about something this minor, nor is their fault.... Also who cares? The drink isn't broken because the hole is a bit off.

it’s really not that hard to look. You’re already looking there putting on the lid.

So you think they stop and inspect every single lid thoughout the day? Thousands of lids individually inspected for a minor defect that doesn't actually impact the customer.... You must be some kind of super employee to have this passion for insulting fast food workers.

not what i said either. You are misinterpreting every single comment i have made about one thing. I’m simply saying it takes zero effort to look because you are already looking in that direction anyways. it’s simply impossible to miss this by both the worker and OP. If i was OP, i would’ve asked for a new lid kindly because mistakes do happen also.
