I can't vouch for the people that came up with the logo; but it is a sticker for a Machine dealer in the town of Villach, Austria. They sell new and used woodworking equipment. The owner is Siegfried Schack...so SS is his initials, must be a family thing, another Schack that works there is Stephan Schack. The SS Sigel is actually different, these shown have a serif on them and rounded corners. But yeah, first look, it appears close, probably an unfortunate coincidence, but then?

The shield is also an emblem that was used by SS divisions (like the example here of the 1st SS Panzer Division)
