I have a CA front plate and AZ rear plate on my car. AZ doesn’t require a front plate and I’m too lazy to remove the CA front plate from my car. Been that way for the last 17 years

You've been driving the same car for 17 years?

I drive my wife’s car on occasion. I put about ~10,000 miles on my car per year. It is a 2000 Honda Civic

Man those Civics last forever. Prob got another 17 years on it!

If it’s the original plate that came from the civic does it have the “Sesquicentennial - 150 Years” on it? Those are so cool. If you registered in Arizona 17 years ago it also means you have an embossed plate vs the ugly flat style they switched to in 2008. Don’t even get me started on Arizona’s new numbering system. Lol

Unfortunately, I didn’t buy it new, I picked it up in April 2004 in California and received new plates with the title and registration.
I do, however, have the old 6 digit license plate here in AZ, but the colors are starting to look dull. Not sure if that’s what you’re referring to

Oh bummer.
Yeah, that’s what I’m referring to. My grandfather has one on his Audi that I think is cool looking that he’s had for over 22 years now. I also like the blue letters on them vs the black on the new ones.
