I’m more interested by the fact that apparently humans eat a product from the cotton plant.

Rapeseed oil is the "real" name of what we in North America tend to call canola oil. In fact, "canola" began life as a trademark owned by the Rapeseed Association of Canada[1]. It's made from the seeds of plants in the Brassica family, which includes things like cabbage and broccoli.

[1] I'm resisting the urge to make a "Rape(seed) Ass(ociation)" joke. I'm honestly not sure why.

When it comes to peanut butter, it most certainly does not have to be Heinz.

Yeah, I only learned that myself a couple of months ago! It's pretty interesting how prolific that particular family of vegetables is, as far as things people like to eat go. I think that's why it stuck in my mind enough to pass the knowledge along :-)

Idk what's going on or why but if you wanna get some stuff off your chest or maybe get an idea for some advice, a random internet stranger might not be the best but I'll still hear ya loud and clear! Much love, be safe.

They say 57 Varieties for a reason. Pretty sure Heinz makes everything. At least anything you might spread on bread.
