Down here in Miami, these iguanas are all over the place. Supposedly, they're an invasive species, and that could be, but they're still cool to look at. Some of these iguanas are huge and easily over 3 feet long from head to tail.

Some people here eat them.

There’s a mall (actually not sure if it still exists) in Hialeah called Westfield, formerly Westland (aka Wasteland mall 😂) that has a canal behind it by the parking lot. There were always huge iguana colonies sun bathing there. Dozens of them.

Well, I don’t have a jet ski, but I almost have where to use it, but there are russian mines floating around. “Who asked?” You may reply and it’ll be fair enough, but I think you can go to Swansea on weekend and rent a jet ski, you’ll remember it for a long time for sure.

2 Yeah? I found on google that there is a lot of places where you can have ride on jet ski, but you should know better, I’m sure there is a lot of great places to go

3 Sadly yes. I live in Odesa and Black Sea and it’s beaches aren’t safe place to chill and swim for more than a year already.

I moved to SWFL last year and I’ve only seen iguanas when hanging by canals at friends houses and stuff but I’ve heard they’re major evasive. Have seen a bunch of iguanas but no gator yet lol

I live in fort myers— but never made it to FMB before the hurricane. I’m dying to get over there but I’m waiting a while because I know how devastated they were from the hurricane. But hey, they got that tent strip club now so I guess it’s up and coming hahaha

I'm living on the beach but somehow I haven't made it to the titty-tent yet. There's a good time to be had here. Places to eat are opening up(food trucks/trailers),a few bars are open. The waters rebounded from the red tide a few weeks back. Come enjoy it

Very cute!! Now that it's warm in Florida, there won't be any iguanas falling from trees due to the winter cold. I would have to say that the iguana picked a good spot to sunbathe, LOL!!

Interesting, how do you managed to take a photo on a modern phone with artifacts? I mean phones these days take a lot of processing over a photo you take, so it’s more like computational photo, but yours looks so alive like it was taken on good ol camra
