I saw an ex of mine years after high school. While I dated her, she was hot and had a cheerleader build, but she cheated on me. A couple years into college and she looked like the person that ate my ex.

If you wish suffering upon an ex lover, I don't think you loved them to begin with anyways.

I couldn't care less if my first ex doesn't do well, but my previous ex I still care for. We may not be dating anymore but we both still care for each other on a basic level and wouldn't wish for suffering. That's love imo, even if things don't work out you still hope they do well in life.

I'd say the same thing if me and my current partner split ways, unless something terrible happened of course.

I hope my exes are doing well. We don’t have to hate our exes very few relationship in life end when and how you want them to. Life is too short to try to block someone else’s happiness.

I'll play devils advocate. If the ex did you dirty it does kind of feel like vindication when you see them go on to flop. You're like "My my how the turns have tabled." Idk, it's dickish, but you'd understand in certain contexts.

Depends on the splitting up I don't wish ill will on any of mine but you can imagine if your ex stole from you or cheated . I'm just annoyed at myself for all the time I wasted. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
