Lmao its not about being superior dog. We know we’re correct. The only thing that’s “not necessary” is your ass making memes like this to cope about losing internet arguments.

I see “eh” or “meh” being fine. Ending your sentence with “lmao” on the other hand makes you look idiotic.

Also people who use lol at the end with an emoji also do this.

"Lmao what are you talking about lol. 😂"

I've seen people use this as an actual argument. It's not one, it's just you asking a question that implies you have no idea what they're talking about. Which then implies you're arguing about something you don't understand.

Stating your agreement/disagreement in front of your argument doesn’t seem that bad to me. In fact it makes conversation a lot easier.

Generally I'm only starting with "lmao" when I'm responding to a truly absurd take.

Latest one was someone who thought that school shooters don't necessarily have mental health problems; his argument was that a completely sane person could walk into a crowded place and start shooting if they "had a bad day".

Felt that justified a lmao. Well, more of a nervous, concerned laugh, but I stand by my lmao.

It's so stupid when people respond to your comment 12th time but say lol or lmao to pretend that they don't care.

Any and all needless words or phrases whose only function is to fluff the ego of the writer and antagonise the reader, yes. Ironically, if I see such things, my implicit assumption is that the person is either an unpleasant-child or an unpleasant-stupid adult; e.g. it has the opposite effect of the writer's intentions (for any unpleasant-children or unpleasant-stupid adults reading this).

This is literally me like I cannot take those people seriously who tend to write lmao in their sentences specifically when they want to add emphasis or make their stupid takes seem normal or obviously correct
