Well i am quite the opposite. Started working out during Covid, dropped 10 kg, got not this muscular, but quite nice body. And my girl says it's gross i have raised veins on arms and that abs are a red flag and stuff like that. So I am finally happy with my body and found a new hobby, but i look worse to her (nothing serious, we are getting married this year, but it hurts).

You can't argue with people's taste. But you should do what makes you feel good about yourself if you don't like how you look.

I'd stop working out as much then. She's not attracted to it, and it's hard to be with someone you're not attracted to physically. Make her happy by doing less.

We have an agreement that I won't be following some strict diet, which is almost obligatory if you want to have abs. So we have this kind of status quo that as long as I only workout and not try to look all ripped and bodybuilder like, it's fine.

When she says your abs are a red flag I think she's the one who's a red flag

Nah. She is a great person and i am looking forward to marry her. It's just she preffers a dad body over muscular physique. And although she liked me better before, she is fine with my current form. Nobody's perfect.
