I'm going into Boston/Cambridge next Friday for an event I haven't attended since pre-pandemic times. I'm coming from the South, so my recent strategy had been to park overnight at Quincy Center and hop on the red line. I was warned at the time that sometimes Quincy Adams and/or Quincy Center would run out of spaces, so I made sure to show up fairly early and never had a problem.

I see that since then, the Quincy Center garage has closed, and Quincy Adams has been under construction. One corner of the MBTA website says Quincy Adams has almost 2000 spots, and another says 500.

Does anybody park regularly/occasionally at Quincy Adams on weekdays, and have you ever run into capacity problems? I can leave pretty early if necessary, but it would be useful to know if it fills up and when. Thanks for your help!

Followup: I see that Center closed in 2012, so Quincy Adams actually must have been where I parked before. But it would still be useful to know if/when it reaches capacity in a post-lockdown world.

No capacity issues. To be honest, many folks are now working at home so there’s plenty of parking throughout the day.

Why not come over to Wollaston? The secondary parking lot behind CVS on Beale Street usually has spaces available. You pay inside CVS and it is just $3 all day parking.
