Many factories are ugly, but inside are magical places. Raw materials in, finished products go out. Its not for everyone, but manufacturing plants can be truly wonderful. Manufacturing is also one of the few industries that provides upward mobility for people who are willing to learn, but may not have degrees, etc.

Fuck off man, factories all look like this on the outside but inside is a tight knit group of folks working hard. Colrain is a beautiful place. This is a sad day
