So this past month on November 10th I received a speeding ticket and shortly after that my father passed away therefore I had to plan a funeral so I’ve been super caught up. Consequently today I went to appeal the ticket and it’s saying I’m 2 days late is there a way I can contact them? Plz get back to me I need some responses 🙂

You can back date your check and stick it in the mail and hope it works out

I would get a copy of the death certificate and see the magistrate of the court.

I just read the policy about appeals. As you probably know, you waive your right to appeal if you go over 20 days. There was no mention of extenuating circumstances. I wonder if a legal clinic might be able to help you.

Not an answer to your question, but I’m very sorry for your loss! I hope you and your family are making through this okay!

I don't think there is a legal entitlement and the law is not on your side, however try writting the court house and explain what happened ,witha copy of the DC and I bet they will give you another chance.
