I shop in Mass which did pass the "cage free egg" law and in NH which did not pass the "cage free law" and I don't notice much of a difference in prices.

At least in my area, the local Market Basket went from 99 cents per dozen to $3.99 per dozen as soon as the new law kicked in.

Well the law went into effect at about the same time as the covid shortages started. Everything went up in price.

Why did the price go up just as much over the border in NH at the same time?
