Besides the islands
Was gonna say Castle Rock on Marblehead‘s Neck.
Came to say this. I had the honor of staying at a friend's place on the beach on Salisbury. I'm usually not a morning person but the opportunity to get up extra early to see the sunrise was too good to pass up on and miss.
My wife and i set up or chairs on the beach and when we saw the sunrise, it's was well worth it.
Go to the other side and catch it from Fort Sewell. The neck has the best sunsets, and the other side of the harbor has the best sunrises.
If you're on the south shore driving all the way out to the tip of Hull by the high school can be a really nice view
I go there for sunset sometimes, the storm walls on the west side of Hull are also great, in the summer the sun sets over the Boston skyline.
Edit: I’ve only ever gone for sunsets. For sunrise would probably try some walls on the east side or Nantasket beach I guess.
Sunset is awesome at The Gut. for sunrise, the "free in the winter" parking lot at Nantasket Beach.
The bunker at Ft Revere, too
Halibut Point in Rockport.
Race Point
Quabbin ain't no slouch.
Plymouth jetty. I've seen some beautiful sunrises there
Manomet Point, might even catch some seals!
Coast guard beach.
Back shore of Gloucester is awesome
Yup, this is where I always went. Can’t be beat. Just ocean and sky. You watch it come right up over the horizon.
Came here to say this!! Pure magic
Halibut Point State Park
Fort Revere in Hull. Amazing views of everything and a cool little fort to explore.
Haven’t been there in years. All-time fave, and oh! those pre-dawn promenades.
UMass Boston
Underrated sunsets across the way in Squantum, too.
I looked at a house there 10 yrs ago really liked the location but the floors and ceilings weren't level and it was a mess of cobbled together diy additions over 60 yrs.
Oh man, it would've been a PIA fixing it up but you'd be sitting on an unreasonable amount of equity right now if you did.
Yeah haha both a figurative and literal million dollar view... Haha..ha...ha 🙃🥲
Also Houghs Neck.
Came here to say this!
I'm in Winthrop and it's really nice over there
Providencetown. 360°
World's End in Hingham.
Long Beach rockport as it ascends over the two lighthouses
Nauset or Coast Guard. For everyone on here who has lived in Mass for a long time and needs a reminder of what the hype is about.
I always enjoyed watching the sunrise @revere beach. It’s empty besides those early morning runners lol
If you can find a place to park there is an amazing view from Marblehead Neck
Herring cove
Herring Cove faces west lol
Ha. I misread it as sunset.
Perfect for sunsets! Race Point for sunrise. 😊
Don’t know but the best place to watch the SUNSET is Scargo Tower in Dennis
Boston Harbor by the Marriott/Aquarium
The boston harbor islands!
Fenway apartment roof top. Edit: Dirty Water
Castle Island . Its not an island but a old fort with seats and walkway. You can see both sunrise over water and sunset over Boston skyline.
Wachusett reservoir
Revere beach….never mind
Good harbor beach in Gloucester
Nantasket beach!
Sunken Meadow Beach in Eastham Massachusetts
Try the beach.
Anywhere on the outer Cape from Nauset Beach to Provincetown.
Literally anywhere
You're not wrong.. doesn't matter what's behind you if you've got thousands of miles of water and a sunrise in front of you.
Find any nice spot anywhere on the coast. Presto!
Barton Cove on the Connecticut river
Forrest River Salem
Salem
Gloucester on the boulevard.
Logan Airport we have the best sunrises
Brant rock
Lynch Park in Beverly is nice
Outer cape

Salisbury Beach is my favorite. Ipswich is gorgeous. Marblehead, Salem, parts of revere beach. Nahant if you can find parking.
