Your first sentence is correct. Quincy has suburban infrastructure but urban needs. It is also the bottleneck through which all travel coming from south of Boston must pass.

Yeah that makes sense. It’s a city but EVERYONE drives and doesn’t use public transportation as much as Boston. The intersection of Newport and Beale is always a mess

Outside of the red line, the public transit sucks in Quincy. You need a car if you wanna go anywhere that’s not Hancock St lol.

It is a nice, affordable place to live and attracts many people. We love living here. Hopefully infrastructure improves to meet the demand!

Public works depts are just as big of a joke as public transportation. Half-assed efforts expecting meaningful results.
