Evictions Protester Rorie S Woods (from Hadley, half hour north of Longmeadow) drove up and released her bees then was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon

We are definitely missing some details, something is off. Listed for 1mil, dropped to 900k, then delisted and sold for way over initial list price in 2018.
I don't know all the details, but if you're getting evicted from a literal mansion valued at 1.5mil, maybe you're living beyond your needs and you should consider renting or buying a home that is more within your budget.
Edit: Also, FTR, I am very anti-eviction in most situations. Every available option should be exhausted to help families/homeowners who have no place to go but the streets. But from reading about this house, the very first option should be dump the house and get into someplace you can afford, even if it's an unappealing one bedroom rental.

This is pretty much Dave Ramsey's main shtick, giving massively overextended Americans dispensation to do the entirely logical thing, but in a face-saving way. "Thank God one day God spoke to me through a guy like that and granted a Caucasian like myself the gift of not living entirely off credit, ego, and cocaine. It was truly a Christmas miracle.."

They're not even in the same county. They're 45 minutes apart. Longmeadow is like Newton and Hadley is like...?Topsfield. I'm local and this story is confusing. I'm wondering if she's a family member or friend of the person being evicted. I also wonder if she stole the hives since she agitated the bed and tipped the hives over. Doesn't seem like something a conscientious beekeeper would do...

I think one article I read said that they owned the house together at one point. It’s a pretty strange situation. Lots of litigation about a foreclosure and this bizarre story about The guy trying to insulate his house with some type of insulating paint that was a complete scam and then he sued the HVAC guy because his house was too cold and too warm…. I think there must just be reams of legal documents around this house. https://ceramics.org/ceramic-tech-today/insulating-ceramic-paint-distributor-falls-for-his-own-grifter-tale

tahitidreams t1_it2o493 wrote
This woman drive bees away from their home to hopefully sting people. Not only did she put the officers lives at risk but the bees as well. When a honey bee stings the stinger gets removed from their bodies as well as part of their abdomen and they die. Also, taking them like that, what if they don’t make it back to their hives in time to leave? They will die. Also, people can have a toxic reaction to stings even if not allergic if they are stung too many times. This woman is an asshole and absolutely no one should be applauding her. You want to protest fine, but don’t endanger and our lives of humans or animals at risk. Especially bees.
