We are definitely missing some details, something is off. Listed for 1mil, dropped to 900k, then delisted and sold for way over initial list price in 2018.

I don't know all the details, but if you're getting evicted from a literal mansion valued at 1.5mil, maybe you're living beyond your needs and you should consider renting or buying a home that is more within your budget.

Edit: Also, FTR, I am very anti-eviction in most situations. Every available option should be exhausted to help families/homeowners who have no place to go but the streets. But from reading about this house, the very first option should be dump the house and get into someplace you can afford, even if it's an unappealing one bedroom rental.

This is pretty much Dave Ramsey's main shtick, giving massively overextended Americans dispensation to do the entirely logical thing, but in a face-saving way. "Thank God one day God spoke to me through a guy like that and granted a Caucasian like myself the gift of not living entirely off credit, ego, and cocaine. It was truly a Christmas miracle.."

Leftists and conservatives have this same problem. Except the leftists feel entitled to live in a trendy part of one of the most expensive cities in the world.

I mean, are we calling like anything in a blue state with a population bigger than 2000 a trendy city now? I want to buy in my rural home town and can't afford it, unless Williamsburg is now trendy somehow

Not every leftist is miffed they can't live in stuffy ol' Boston, anyway. Yeah I'm kind of miffed I also couldn't afford to live there 20 years ago. I don't feel I'm missing out on much as of 2022.

Ya getting by in Paris seems like it could be hard for just about anyone who doesn't have several mil in the stash.

You got a guy legally pleading with authorities to not get evicted. Now he is national news and hilarious. Did he want this? Was it a surprise to him? I wonder.

How are bees considered a deadly weapon if you’re not allergic?

Enough bee stings could cause a toxic reaction in someone who his not allergic and they could die or be hospitalized.
