Pretty sure Salem is close to Danvers. It’s a fun area to visit this time of year because people dress up and there’s usually a ton of food vendors and stuff in town. It’s a nice place for shopping, restaurants, and museums.

Not only is Salem close to Danvers, Danvers was Salem Village in 1692. Nearly all of the accused lived in Salem Village. The accusers nearly all lived in Salem Towne (now Salem).
