I'd love to hear from Reddit about what happened here.

From what some folks have said in other threads/subreddits, Linuxman was appointed as moderator by Reddit. Based on his actions after, it feels like an explanation is warranted.

Good point. He said something like we were about wind up as a banned sub. I mean, living in Sudbury is like subbing to r/ SpaceDicks, but still don't see how reddit wants to ban a boring state sub.

Which smells like BS. The sub might have been largely unmoderated, but it would take me .2 seconds to find a sub in much worse shape.
