Please help I’m worried.

I requested to replace my license online and paid the $25 fee using my account number and for some reason the rmv didn’t take the payment or my bank denied it. I’m looking online and it’s saying my license will be suspended plus a $15 fee ? Is this true ?

Make an in person appointment at the RMV or AAA to renew if you can. You can try calling the RMV for assistance but that may be a long hold.

It’s not a renewal I just needed the license replacement since I lost my license. Paid the $25 fee online and snd for some reason it doesn’t go through. My license won’t be suspended right ?

If you paid online, your bank should have a record of the transaction. Go to the bank find out if it was in fact paid and if not why not. Then take documentation to either the RMV or AAA.

No one here can really answer that. If the site says it will, then you are at risk that it will be. It’s going to be a process to fix this but monitor your bank to see if the transaction went through, call the RMV (be prepared to wait on the phone) and try to get there first thing in the morning to talk to someone .

FYI, several years ago, I had to send in a check to the RMV to renew my license and the renewal never came, even though they cashed the check (you can get photos of the cashed check either on the RMV web site or your bank's web site). I tried to call the RMV multiple times which was utterly pointless, so I went to one of their locations and showed them printouts of my payment after which they gave me my new license on the spot.
