Also, it has fairly high property tax rates, at 14.1 mills for 2023. For a $700k home, that’s $10k annually. That compares to nearby Andover (13.7 mills, $9600 for a $700k house), Billerica (11.9 mills, $8300 annually), North Reading (14 mills, $10k), Reading (12.6 mills, $8800), Wilmington (11.9 mills, $8300), and Woburn (8.7 mills, $6000).
