She did some reunion stuff with The Dream Syndicate in 2017 and then did some work on a song for a film soundtrack in 2018 (according to Wikipedia).
I wouldn't actively hope for it but the fact she did some stuff after 20+ years of absolutely nothing may eventually lead to something? But I wouldn't bet on it

Fun fact: Kendra Smith was the original bassist of The Dream Syndicate, and also the original lead singer of Opal-who then later became Mazzy Star after she left
