Hey JC foodies!
I am a huge fan of Sabich sandwiches and have been craving them a ton lately. Does anyone know a good spot in JC for Israeli food? Even better if they deliver?
Thank you!!!

Mordi’s would be my best guess, the owner is Israeli.
This is the way. Mordi's is incredible and I believe has sabich.
Best Sabich I've had is Taim in the city. You can take the path to Christopher and walk to their West Village location from there.
This was my hope but it’s not listen on their menu or on their Uber eats delivery options
Across the water there are certainly options! Taïm is good though the best I’ve had is at 12 chairs in Soho.
Miznon is great for Israeli food in general.
I see a lot of overlap with ingredients they use for other menu items. Tweet him and he'll probably find a way to add it to the menu
They have fried eggplant in the sub sandwiches, no egg though. if you are looking for a good pita sandwich, you might just need to go to tamam on the Upper east side or catch a plane from EWR. i couldn't find a good fluffy pita sandwiched in JC.
BTW if you are looking for fluffy pitas Yuki's in Hoboken has them, but they don't make sandwiches.
The only sabich sandwiches I've had are from Taïm. It's where I was introduced to them and after seeing some other ideas on this thread, now I'm excited to try some more! I will say that the sandwich you'll end up with from Taïm is big and definitely something you'll need to sit down to eat. Grab plenty of napkins! Oh, and they renamed it for some reason. Now you have to select a pita meal and request "Golden eggplant" as the "main." 🤷🏻♂️
I WAS WONDERING WHERE IT WENT ON THE MENU! that’s why!!!
Good tip with Yuki’s. Always looking for good pita
Believe me, at first I was shocked when I noticed it was missing from the menu!

There's a kosher place on academy and summit but idk if they have what you're looking for. That's literally all that comes to mind
