Its actually a pretty easy commute to the city in my experience. From the park to Newport path is a 12 min walk. I commuted daily for years to the city and it was so easy. The area is more of a quiet area at night. There are several restaurants and food spots within 5 mins distance and Key foods market is 7mins away. If you want the nightlife thats over by the Grove path its like 12-15 mins walking distance which is not that bad considering you’re living right by a park with dog runs, basketball and tennis courts.
